We are a small scale farm offering vegetables grown from organic methods, eggs, honey, apples, pears and flowers! Stay tuned on what market we’ll be at in 2025!
Our roadside stand is self service and open most weekends through out the spring summer and fall. Please follow us on Instagram and Facebook for updates!
Martin Brown Farm is a small farm and one of the oldest farms in Uxbridge! As the story goes, Martin Brown , the son of a Burriville , RI farmer purchased land and built the current farmhouse we live in today. In 1836 he started his own farm here and it remained a working dairy farm with different owners up until the early 1950's ,rearing about 30 cows. Skip ahead a half century to 2002 we move in and one of the first things I did was dig a garden! We've always loved growing pumpkins and corn and once in a while we would set up a stand in front of the house. In September 2021 with a bumper crop of tomatoes we set up a small self service stand in front of the barn . We only had tomatoes, heirloom pears ,okra ,sage & mint, but folks around the neighborhood stopped by and we had some customers and made some new friends! Our high tunnel was completed in the fall of 2023 which has helped us extend the growing seasons in the spring and fall and also helps protect the crops from the elements. We have such a great community here in the Blackstone Valley of farms, gardeners, beekeepers, roadside stands, markets and farm to table businesses. We are proud and excited to be a part of it all and we love having the opportunity to produce organically grown food for our local community. Thank you for the continued support!
All the best,
Farmer John
